Kandy to Nuwara Eliya, Srilanka – The scenic beauty you will fall in love!
My travel from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya is a memorable one which I have shared in this travel blog.
There can be none who will not appreciate beauty in any form; particularly if it is in the form of nature. And if you find galaxies of natural beauty breasted on the solitary Island nation of Asia, you will just fall in love with it. This gifted island is nothing less than a pearl of joy, glittering radiantly amidst the gushing waves of Indian Ocean. That makes the Island, Sri Lanka, the hot spot of tourists from all around the world. The center of attraction is the capital of the central province and an UNESCO World Heritage Site, Kandy.
Religious Sites
Generally, the chief attraction of Kandy is the Temple of the Tooth or Sri Dalada Maligawa that houses the sacred Relic of the Tooth of Buddha kept in a gold casket and stored in an inner chamber, viewed through glass. It dates back to the 16th century. In order to experience the serenity of spiritualism, never miss to watch the rituals performed by Buddhist monks who visit the temple every day. You can also see the World Buddhist Museum and huge statues of Buddha.
